Board Committees & Leadership
Leadership at SCCoC is shared. Our committees bring Board members, SCCoC members, community members, and partners together around the work of preventing and ending homelessness in Summit County.
Our committees

Executive Committee
Provides organizational leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of SCCoC initiatives and decisions between full Board meetings.
Finance Committee
Oversees SCCoC’s financial health, including budgeting, expenditures, financial controls, audits, and fiscal compliance.
Fundraising & Volunteer Coordination Committee
Develops sustainable fundraising, donor engagement, sponsorship, volunteer, and community support strategies to strengthen SCCoC’s work.
Governance Committee
Strengthens Board leadership through recruitment, development, training, succession planning, and oversight of bylaws and governance practices.
Lived Experience Committee
Ensures the voices, expertise, and recommendations of people with lived experience of homelessness directly inform SCCoC policies, priorities, and strategies.
Personnel Committee
Provides oversight and guidance on staff policies, executive leadership, compensation, performance, benefits, and human resources practices.
Ranking & Review Committee
Ensures a fair, transparent, and data-informed process for evaluating, scoring, and ranking funding applications and recommendations.
Steering Committee
Brings together Board, community, and partner perspectives to support strategic planning, collaboration, system initiatives, and recommendations to the Board.
System Performance Committee
Uses system-level data, HMIS, Coordinated Entry, and performance measures to identify gaps, monitor outcomes, and recommend improvements to the homelessness response system.
Youth Advisory Board
The Youth Advisory Board (YAB) provides young people with lived experience of homelessness a meaningful voice in shaping SCCoC programs, policies, services, and priorities, helping ensure the community’s homelessness response reflects the needs, perspectives, and ideas of youth.
